Moon Knight Adds Hannibal Rising Star as New Villain

We already know that Ethan Hawke will be playing the lead villain in Moon Knight. However, the Knives Out 2 star isn't the only baddie who will show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. It has been confirmed that Hannibal Rising actor Gaspard Ulliel will be joining the show as its mysterious new villain.

Ulliel's casting was revealed in his agency's listing. The Hamilton Hodell talent agency website actually shows that the Saint Laurent star will play Anton Mogart aka Midnight Man in Moon Knight.

In the comics, Midnight Man is a thief who started out simply stealing works of art and jewelry. However, he is caught by Moon Knight and left for dead in a river that brings him to the sewers where the wastes deform his face. Blaming his deformity on Moon Knight, he sets out to take down the hero and eventually teams up with Bushman.
