There is little doubt that fans have been hoping to see Worf's return in the Star Trek Universe. Interestingly, it looks like Michael Dorn is back as the popular Klingon. However, it isn't for any of the current shows. Worf is back to promote the new game Star Trek: Legends.

It was previously reported that Dorn had teased on his possible return as Worf. "Just got the news, being summoned back into action. Starfleet calls," Dorn tweeted. Although fans immediately expected the Klingon to appear in one of the new Star Trek shows, the actor had also written the hashtag #ad in his post.

It has since been confirmed that Dorn's new project "has nothing to do with a Star Trek Universe on Paramount+ original series." Nevertheless, it's just as awesome. The new ad for the video game Star Trek: Legends focuses on Worf as he commands USS Artemis. Check it out below.

Worf isn't the only one who appears in the Legends commercial. We also get a glimpse at Spock and the Borg Queen. This is because the new video game will enlist numerous Star Trek characters on a dangerous mission.

Star Trek: Legends was developed by Emerald City Games and published by Tilting Point, who previously worked on Star Trek Timelines. The upcoming title features a new storyline that was written by Mike Johnson, who has worked on several Star Trek books for IDW Publishing.

Star Trek: Legends is an Apple Arcade exclusive which means it is only available to subscribers on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. You can check it out now.
