Marvel's MODOK Series will Introduce X-Men Into the MCU

In case you missed it, Marvel supervillain M.O.D.O.K. will be getting his own animated series that will air on Hulu. But what's so special about a show that follows the regular life of a floating head? Patton Oswalt has just confirmed that his upcoming project will be the first to introduce X-Men characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Oswalt recently took part in the show's virtual panel at New York Comic Con which was also attended by his fellow producer Jordan Blum as well as his co-stars Ben Schwartz, Melissa Fumero, and Aimee Garcia. Interestingly, Oswalt revealed that they were given enough freedom to work on storylines involving unexpected characters.

"I cannot believe the Marvel toybox stuff they let us play with. We pitched some characters, some even in the X-Universe, we were like 'We don't know if they're gonna say yes to this,' and they were like 'Yeah, go ahead,'" Oswalt said.

Wait, so who will appear in Marvel's M.O.D.O.K? Oswalt didn't reveal anything just yet but he also teased that there could be some heavy-hitters in the series.

"Again, I don't want to say who, but there were a couple Jordan and I were thinking 'Oh, I don't think they said yes to. Let's write this but have backup because they'll realize,' but no, we got them," he said.

For now, it's too early to speculate but we're hoping that some of the X-Men will be showing up in the series. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
