Mark Strong Shares Update on Shazam 2

There is little doubt that Dr Sivana will be back in Shazam: Fury of the Gods. After all, the post-credits scene in the first film confirmed that the villain will be working with Mister Mind. So what can we look forward to in the highly anticipated DC Extended Universe sequel? Mark Strong has offered an update on the upcoming Zachary Levi flick.

Strong recently spoke to Collider to promote his new series Temple but also answered some questions about Shazam 2. Not surprisingly, the Kingsman star admitted that he truly enjoyed working on the DCEU movie.

"I had such a great time on the first one and it turned out to be such a success," Strong said. He then shared what he knew about the film so far.

"I'm just waiting to hear. I think the script is in development and they're trying to get ready to do it. Obviously, it's been interrupted by this pandemic, so things are on hold until such time as it can be filmed safely," Strong said before adding that he honestly hasn't been given enough details about the sequel.

"At the moment, it's all under wraps. I honestly know very little about it. It's not that I don't want to tell you anything about it. It's just that I don't actually know very much about it," he said.

We might not be getting enough information from Strong just yet but there is little doubt we'll be learning more about Shazam 2 once it begins production. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
