Mark Ruffalo is quite notorious for spoiling most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films that he has been involved with. So it's no surprise that the Avengers: Endgame actor was the first to drop a new clip from this week's episode of What If...? featuring the Marvel Zombies.
We already know that the upcoming episode of What If...? will bring in the Marvel Zombies from the comic book series of the same name. The first posters for the new episode put the focus on Zombie Captain America and Zombie Hawkeye.
Now, we have the first clip from the new episode, thanks to Ruffalo. The She-Hulk star shared the video on his official Twitter account and it pretty much spoils how the Marvel Zombies somehow stopped some of Thanos' henchmen. Check it out below.
It's an awesome clip that teases a look at Zombie Iron Man flying in to save the day then proceeding to devour Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. Needless to say, this is going to be an exciting and terrifying new episode for the MCU animated show.
In the comic books, the zombies come from Earth-2149. The superheroes were turned after an alternate version of Sentry crashlands into this Earth. Despite being zombies, the heroes retain their superpowers and intellect. However, they are driven by the "Hunger" for human flesh and will try to feed as often as possible.
The official title for this week's What If...? has not yet been revealed. The new episode will premiere on Disney+ on September 8, 2021.
