The Star Wars: Episode IX trailer is undoubtedly one of the most awaited videos this December. Not surprisingly, Mark Hamill decided to share a hilarious glimpse at the film's so-called "trailer."
Hamill had previously promised his Twitter followers that he would give them a glimpse at the Episode IX trailer. The star of The Last Jedi certainly delivered and even added an awesome throwback photo. Take a look at his tweet below.
The Star Wars actor also suggested that he is planning to retire from being #TrollMasterHamill because "it's impossible to trick you nerds!" However, his fans pleaded that he should continue with the trolling.
There have been several speculations about the Episode IX trailer release date. Although some were hoping that the first teaser would be revealed in November, Disney has yet to make an official announcement about its debut. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that the trailer will be dropped before the end of the year.
There's a good reason why people are waiting for the Episode IX trailer. The teaser is expected to give us a glimpse at what will happen in the final film of the Skywalker saga. In addition to that, it will also reveal the movie's official title.
Some believe that the sequel could be a reference to Kylo Ren although others think it should focus on Rey. Either way, Episode IX will bring back Hamill as Luke Skywalker so it could mean that the Jedi Master will still play a major role in the film.
Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
