MCU's Silver Surfer Could be Played by Agents of SHIELD Star

We have yet to see former Fox properties like the X-Men and the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But is it possible that we'll get to see Silver Surfer in the MCU much sooner? One actor from Agents of SHIELD has expressed interest in playing a different character in an MCU project and he wants to portray Norrin Radd.

Daz Crawford is no stranger to Marvel. He has previously played Lighthammer in Blade II and was recently cast as Kebo in Agents of SHIELD. However, there's another Marvel character that Crawford is eager to portray.

"If I was gonna play [anyone], I would probably go for Silver Surfer," Crawford said during a Wizard World virtual panel. He then explained that this was a role that he has been interested in for some time and one that could work for him considering his previous roles.

"I've thought about it, and I do get auditions and cast for villains quite a bit, so there you go," Crawford added.

We can't really blame Crawford for wanting to portray Silver Surfer. After all, there's a possibility that Marvel Studios will go with an actor who can handle action scenes and he seems to fit the role.

On the other hand, it's important to note that Marvel has not yet confirmed a casting call for Norrin Radd at this point. Nevertheless, we're hoping to get an update on the planned Silver Surfer movie that is said to be in active development right now.
