Lucifer Season 6 Trailer Teases the Challenges of Becoming God

The final season of Lucifer is finally coming next month and now we know that the former King of Hell has been up to since the previous season. The Lucifer Season 6 trailer features Tom Ellis' Lucifer Morningstar dealing with the consequences of being God and finding a surprising new threat on his life.

The Season 6 trailer opens with Lucifer being interrogated, something that he easily deals with. He does, however, struggle when asked about his age, prompting Chloe to swoop in and help him.

Although Lucifer initially looks confident as he admits he is the new God, things are not quite as they seem. As Amenadiel tells him it's time to take their Father's throne, Lucifer resists, claiming he needs to be ready since it's a big job.

With that in mind, Lucifer needs help so he's back on Dr. Martin's couch once again. However, sessions with his therapist might not be enough for the new God to deal with a new threat.

Interestingly, the trailer also deals with a new case which is the "death of Lucifer Morningstar." Chloe demonstrates as she tackles Lucifer, who certainly did not see that coming.

Fans might be sad that Lucifer is coming to an end but are quite satisfied that the series is getting a proper conclusion. After all, the show had already been canceled and was only saved when Netflix took over. Luckily, we'll get to see what happens to Lucifer and Chloe in the final season this September.

Lucifer Season 6 will premiere on Netflix on September 10, 2021.
