It has been a long wait for the next season of Love, Death and Robots. Luckily, Netflix has just confirmed that we'll be seeing more of the anthology series soon. The first trailer for Tim Miller's Love Death + Robots Volume 2 has just been dropped and it has also teased on the third season.

The new trailer opens with a woman asking a man if he is alright. It is then revealed that she is actually on a chair for what looks like a transfusion. As she asks to hold his hand, she makes an interesting discovery: "You feel something," she declares.

From there, the teaser moves to several different shots of the upcoming episodes in Love Death and Robots Season 2. Although we're not sure what to expect just yet, there are several scenes that stand out. At one point, two children stumble upon a train set. In another sequence, a woman reveals she has been alive for 218 years.

There is little doubt that Love Death and Robots Volume 2 will feature all-new animated shorts. However, we're also hoping that we'll get to see some follow-ups on the previous episodes from the first season. For instance, we're wondering what happened to the robots who had been taken captive by cats in the episode Three Robots.

The good news is, Love Death and Robots Season 2 will premiere next month. The even better news is, Volume 3 is coming. The teaser confirms that the third season of the anthology series will be released in 2022.

Love Death + Robots Volume 2 will premiere on Netflix on May 14, 2021. The third volume has not yet been given an official release date but is set to air sometime next year.
