It might still be unclear whether Hugh Jackman will eventually change his mind and decide to return as Wolverine in the future. In the meantime, it looks like a different character could be taking the Wolverine mantle. A new fan art imagines Jackman's Logan co-star Dafne Keen putting on a comic-book accurate suit as X-23.

It's an awesome image that strongly suggests X-23 could be the Wolverine that will be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, Logan concluded with the death of Jackman's character and it looked like the young mutants could be set for a whole new story of their own. On the other hand, it might be too soon to hope for the X-Men showing up in the MCU.
There have been speculations that Disney is still trying to figure out how to introduce the X-Men into the MCU. Although some believe that the list of characters that will be brought in is still being considered, there is also a possibility that the House of Mouse is still wary about giving the mutants a new project. This is connected to the poor reactions to the last two X-Men movies that were released.
