Kevin Smith's He-Man Anime Masters of the Universe: Revelation Drops First Look Images

It looks like Powerhouse Animation Studios is on a roll. Just a few hours after the premiere of Castlevania Season 4, the studio has dropped the first images from Kevin Smith's upcoming anime adaptation of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe.

The images were shared by the official Netflix Geeked Twitter account and it hypes up the highly anticipated anime adaptation. Check it out below.

It's certainly different yet still fairly similar to the classic animated show back in the 1980s. However, there is a huge chance that the anime will be more violent compared to the original series. Needless to say, we can't wait for the show to air.

The new He-Man anime features the voices of Chris Wood as Prince Adam/He-Man, Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena, Kevin Conroy as Merman and many more. The series will also bring back original Skeletor voice actor Alan Oppenheimer as Moss Mann.

The description for Masters of the Universe: Revelation reads as follows:

"The war for Eternia culminates in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION, an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it's up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe."

Masters of the Universe: Revelation premieres on Netflix on July 23, 2021.
