Thor: Love and Thunder are currently in production and it looks like its already stellar cast is getting even better every day. Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan may have confirmed that she is already preparing to reprise her role as Nebula in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel.
Gillan recently did a fan Q&A on Instagram Live and one of the huge revelations was the fact that the former Doctor Who star is getting a haircut. The shorter do is set to make it easier for Gillan to put on the bald cap for Nebula's costume when she begins working on Thor 4.

It isn't exactly a huge surprise that Nebula will be showing up in Thor: Love and Thunder. After all, it has already been confirmed that Chris Pratt's Star-Lord will play a large role in the MCU sequel. In addition to that, Gillan's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 co-stars Pom Klementieff and Dave Bautista have confirmed they will appear in the film as well.
This isn't the first time that Gillan underwent some transformation to play Nebula. For the first Guardians film, she actually shaved her head to convincingly play the character. Luckily, she didn't have to do the same thing for Vol. 2 and the latter Avengers movies but still needed to cut her hair short. Either way, Gillan looks great in any hairstyle.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi. It stars Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif. Academy Award winner Christian Bale has recently been cast as the main villain Gorr the God Butcher.
The fourth Thor movie is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.
