Zack Snyder's Justice League could premiere on HBO Max any time this year and the filmmaker couldn't stop himself from hyping up the director's cut. Snyder has just posted a new image from the Snyder Cut and it teases an epic and violent fight between Steppenwolf and the Atlanteans.

The picture confirms that Snyder is currently working on the music for the film. After all, his caption seems like a direct reaction to what JunkieXL has come up with for the sequence involving Steppenwolf and one of the Atlanteans.

The Justice League theatrical cut did feature a scene where Steppenwolf attacks the Atlanteans to get his hands on the Motherbox. However, the sequence wasn't particularly exciting and felt rushed. On the other hand, the Snyder Cut could turn into a bloody battle with significant casualties. With that in mind, this could be a scene to look forward to this year.

It's interesting to note that Snyder has brought JunkieXL back to work on the music for the Snyder Cut. The producer had initially been confirmed to provide the music for the movie but was replaced with Danny Elfman after Snyder stepped away from the film. Needless to say, JunkieXL's return is a welcome one for fans who are aware of how well his music fits with Snyder's projects.

Zack Snyder's Justice League has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is already expected to premiere on HBO Max later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
