We already know that John Cena will be playing a mystery character in The Suicide Squad. But is it possible that the former wrestler is already teasing yet another comic book role, this time with Valiant Entertainment? Cena has just posted an interesting tease that might confirm an upcoming X-O Manowar film.

Cena recently took to his official Instagram account to share images from Valiant Comics. Take a look at his post below.

That's right, that's Aric of Dacia aka X-O Manowar. The character is known for several superpowers including Enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, and healing process, invulnerability, and energy manipulation. In addition to that, Aric has X-ray vision, is capable of scan cloaking, and yes, he can fly as well.

But does this mean that Cena is teasing on the possibility that he will play X-O Manowar in a future film? It might be too soon to tell considering that Valiant has not yet confirmed any plans for the superhero. In addition to that, there is a possibility that Cena simply shared the images because he's reading up on the comic books and truly enjoys the character's storyline. For now, it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Cena's latest project is Fast and Furious 9, where he will play Jakob Toretto (brother of Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto). The film was initially scheduled for release on May 22 but has been pushed back due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The movie is now expected to hit theaters on April 2, 2021.
