Jason Momoa Becomes Lobo In Awesome Fan Art

There was a time when people fantasized about Jason Momoa joining the DC Extended Universe as the most badass bastich that ever existed. Sure, he ended up playing a cool version of Aquaman, but you have to admit, the former Game of Thrones star would have been perfect as Lobo.

Although it's highly unlikely that Momoa will play two different comic book characters in the big screen anytime soon, internet artist Bosslogic wants fans to remember the time when you wanted the Aquaman actor as the Last Czarnian. Check out the awesome fan art below.

Momoa certainly has the built and attitude to play Lobo but the DC comics antihero might never get his own film. Although a live-action movie was originally planned in 2009 with Guy Richie directing, it appears to have been lost in development hell with numerous directors and writers eventually passing on the project.

While we're still not sure if a Lobo film will be happening, the character recently showed up in the TV series Krypton. Interestingly, Emmett J. Scanlan's version of the antihero is getting his own spinoff series on Syfy. The show has not yet been given a release date.

Meanwhile, Momoa is set to reprise his role as Arthur Curry in Aquaman 2, which is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022. He recently completed work on Denis Villeneuve's Dune film, which will hit theaters on December 18, 2020.
