There is little doubt that fans are currently hyped up from all the updates we got on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, there was one particular film that was not featured in the Marvel Studios sizzle reel. But could this still mean the Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali will be the secret movie that will be released in 2022.

The new sizzle reel from Marvel Studios featured numerous updates including fresh footage from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals. In addition to that, it was confirmed that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be released in February 2023.

This is an interesting update considering that Quantumania was one of the MCU movies believed to premiere next year. After all, it was confirmed during Disney Investor Day that there is a secret film that will be released between Black Panther and Captain Marvel 2 (official title: The Marvels) in 2022. With the Ant-Man sequel out of the way, there is a huge chance that the project will be the Blade reboot.

It has already been reported that Blade will begin production before the end of the year. In addition to that, Blade co-creator Marv Wolfman had previously stated that the reboot is set for release in 2022.

We're loving the idea of the Blade reboot being released by next year. However, Marvel Studios has not yet made an official announcement about the project's status. Nevertheless, there is a possibility we'll hear about the film within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
