Is Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe Infected by Coronavirus?

There is little doubt that people are currently worried about the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) considering that some celebrities have admitted to being infected with the disease. But is Daniel Radcliffe one of the major stars who is currently sick with the virus? The Harry Potter actor is believed to be one of the big-name victims of COVID-19.

The speculations came after a BBC Twitter account stated that Radcliffe has been infected with the virus. However, it has been confirmed by TooFab that the account is fake and the news was untrue. Nevertheless, Australian radio host Smalzy decided to get the truth from the Guns Akimbo star himself in a phone interview.

In the interview, the host plainly asks Radcliffe if he is sick with Coronavirus. Interestingly, this isn't the first time that the actor has heard the news.

"It's funny you ask me that today because I walked into the hair and makeup room on the play yesterday, and the makeup artist was like, 'My niece has just texted me and told me you've got corona,'" Radcliffe said. "I was like, 'What?!' He showed me a tweet, it was like, 'Daniel Radcliffe becomes first famous person to contract coronavirus.' I was like, what?!"

That's hardly a funny joke to play on Radcliffe and yet the Swiss Army Man star still found humor in the rumors. He even stated that he knows why the rumors were started in the first place.

"I think it's just because I look ill all the time, so you can believably say it about me," Radcliffe joked, "' Cause I'm very pale."

Luckily, it looks like Radcliffe isn't actually infected with the virus. We're hoping that he stays safe from the disease.

It was previously reported that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have both tested positive for Coronavirus.
