There is little doubt that people are shocked and enraged when it was revealed that the trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League was removed from YouTube. After all, fans were worried that it meant the filmmaker would have to change his vision for the film or that Snyder would have to remove certain scenes that appeared in the teaser. However, it looks like that trailer had to be taken down for a very simple reason.
Fans recently started freaking out on social media when they discovered that the Snyder Cut trailer is no longer available on YouTube. Some went as far as firing at Warner Bros. for once again trying to censor Snyder's plans for the director's cut. Luckily, we have a mundane explanation for the trailer's sudden removal.
The revelation comes from THR's Aaron Couch, who shared the explanation on his official Twitter account. Check it out below.
"HBO Max has removed August's trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League over music rights issues, but it will likely go back up on YouTube once the issue is resolved," Couch said.
It's a strange reason considering that the use of music in trailers should first be approved before they are released, right? Nevertheless, we are hoping that the teaser will be uploaded again.
The Justice League Snyder Cut trailer was first unveiled at DC FanDome and fans were delighted when the footage in the teaser confirmed that it will be completely different from the theatrical cut. The song featured in the trailer is Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.
Zack Snyder's Justice League has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to air on HBO Max next year.
