Here's What to Expect from Disney+ on Star Wars Day 2020


Star Wars Day is almost here and although everyone will be stuck at home, Disney+ is preparing some special content just for you. Here are some of the awesome things you can stream on the service on May 4th.

It was previously confirmed that all nine films of the Skywalker Saga will finally be available for streaming on Disney+ on May 4. This will include Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is the final movie in the saga.

If you've been missing the action-packed episodes of The Mandalorian, the streaming service has a special new feature just for you. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is a documentary series that will take you behind-the-scenes of the first season. In addition to that, there are special interviews with the cast and crew where you can learn about how each episode was made. There are eight episodes in the docu-series and each one will focus on one of the eight episodes of Season 1.

Finally, Disney+ is changing the schedule of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 for this special day. The season finale of the animated series, which will also serve as the show's final episode, will air on May 4 as well. This way, fans can finally learn what truly happened to Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, and Darth Maul right after the Seige of Mandalore.

This might be the first Star Wars Day where everyone is in self-quarantine but that doesn't mean we have to feel like we're trapped in carbonite. Watch all the specials on Disney+ on Star Wars Day, May 4.
