There is little doubt that people are now looking forward to seeing Yelena Belova in Hawkeye after what happened in the Black Widow post-credits scene. Interestingly, this has been confirmed by leaked merchandise for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series. In addition to that, the toys reveal that Yelena is set for a major transformation.
Fans have long speculated that Yelena will take on a new persona when she reappears in Hawkeye. It is believed that she will be going after Clint Barton, who she thinks is responsible for the death of her sister Natasha Romanoff. Amazingly, a new listing for Marvel Funko Pop figures reveals Yelena's new look in the MCU show.
The Hawkeye figures will include "Clint Barton/Hawkeye", "Kate Bishop", and "Yelena Belova With Masked Chase". The last one is an interesting detail that somehow confirms Florence Pugh's Yelena will be wearing a mask when we see her again in the series.
It's not just any mask. There have been previous reports about Yelena becoming Ronin and that she will be wearing a mask and hood similar to the one Clint was wearing in Avengers: Endgame. We don't have an image for the figure yet but we're hoping we'll get a glimpse at the new Yelena soon.
Hawkeye will also star Jeremy Renner as Barton, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, and Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez aka Echo. The series has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is already expected to premiere in late 2021.
