The casting of Adam Warlock is something that people have been wondering about since seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 post-credits scene. Although fans were expecting other actors like Zac Efron or Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page to take over the role, Marvel clearly had other plans for the character.
For now, it is unclear when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will begin production. However, there is a huge chance that Gunn will immediately start work on the MCU sequel and that means filming could begin as early as late 2021 or the first half of 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will bring back Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel. The sequel is already scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
