Emily VanCamp Says The World is 'One Thousand Percent' Ready for Black Captain America

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has already teased on the arrival of the Black Captain America but is the world ready for it? Emily VanCamp says that everyone is "one thousand percent" ready for Sam Wilson to take on the mantle.

It's no secret that Steve Rogers had passed the Captain America shield to Sam because he believes that the Falcon is the best man for the job. However, Sam wasn't ready for the responsibility and decided to surrender the shield to the Smithsonian so it can be displayed.

Of course, the government thought they would use the shield for a completely different purpose and handed it to John Walker, calling him the new Captain America. Nevertheless, fans trust that Sam and Bucky Barnes will get that shield back and restore it to the Falcon.

So are we ready for a Black Captain America? VanCamp told IGN Brasil that she believes so.

"I can't divulge anything, but do I think the world is ready for a Black Captain America? A thousand percent, I'm ready for that," VanCamp said.

We're not surprised that VanCamp is so sure about this. After all, fans have been ready for Black Captain America since Steve handed that shield to Sam in Avengers: Endgame. We're just eager to see him in action before the end of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
