Doctor Strange 2 Star Benedict Wong Teases Spider-Man Connection in BTS Photo

We already know that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going to be a trippy adventure considering that it features both the Sorceror Supreme and Scarlet Witch. But is it possible that we'll be seeing Stephen Strange's young ward as well? Benedict Wong has just teased on a Spider-Man connection in an awesome behind-the-scenes photo.

Wong, who will reprise his role as Wong in Doctor Strange 2, has shared the image on his official Instagram account. In the picture, the former Marco Polo star is showing off his Spider-Man pants while waiting to start filming. Check it out below.

"Behind The Scenes @marvelstudios Dr. Strange and the Madness of the Multi-schedule!" Wong wrote before adding the hashtag #spiderwong.

Although fans have pointed out that the Spider-Man pants might be Wong's personal clothes, some were also quick to point out that he may have worn them to impress a Spider-Man. Although there has been no confirmation that Tom Holland will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, people are wondering if it's being kept secret.

But is it possible that the caption teased on Wong working on a different Marvel project? Some believe that the "multi-schedule" was a reference to Wong also being a part of Spider-Man 3.

For now, it has not yet been announced whether Wong is part of the Spider-Man 3 cast. However, it is possible considering that Benedict Cumberbatch will play an important role in the sequel.

Both Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the untitled Spider-Man 3 are currently in production. Spider-Man 3 will premiere on December 17, 2021, while Doctor Strange 2 is scheduled for release on March 25, 2022.
