We already know that America Chavez will finally get her live-action debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, we have yet to see Xochitl Gomez as Miss America. Although we're still waiting to see the comic book heroine in the flesh, Marvel has unveiled the official America Chavez logo for Doctor Strange 2.
Back in December, it was confirmed that America will join the second Doctor Strange film which will also star Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Since then, there haven't been many updates on the character but it's clear she will play a major role in the sequel.
It has recently been confirmed that Doctor Strange 2 has finally wrapped filming and the crew received some cool items as their wrap gifts. One particular gift is a hat emblazoned with the film's official logo and the Vishanti symbol.
Interestingly, one side of the hat also features America Chavez's logo as well as Scarlet Witch's trademark headgear. Check it out below.
We're loving the idea that America Chavez's logo is part of the Doctor Strange 2 promos. After all, this means she is going to be an important part of the highly anticipated MCU flick. Hopefully, this means she also has a bright future beyond Phase 4 and could eventually star in a possible Young Avengers project.
Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness has just wrapped production. The Sam Raimi-directed sequel is still scheduled for release on March 25, 2022.
