Doctor Strange 2 Merch Listing Confirms Arrival of [SPOILERS]

There is little doubt that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently one of the most anticipated movies of 2022. After all, the events in Loki pretty much confirmed that the new Marvel Cinematic Universe flick will feature Doctor Strange having to deal with the multiverse that has been unleashed.

But is it possible that this will also lead to Stephen Strange meeting his most terrifying nemesis? A listing for MCU merchandise has just teased the arrival of someone that the Sorceror Supreme never expected to encounter.

The leaked listing for the upcoming Funko Pops reveals that Marvel will release new figures for Doctor Strange 2, Hawkeye, and Miss Marvel. Interestingly, the list for the second Doctor Strange film confirms the return of Christine Palmer and the arrival of America Chavez aka Miss America.

This is all truly exciting but the list also reveals that there will be Funko figures for "Supreme Strange" and "Defender Strange". There are speculations that these are actually Variants of the Sorceror Supreme who might not like the idea of meeting other Stranges.

In Loki, He Who Remains confirmed that he has stopped a multiversal war that was started by his own Variants. There is a possibility that the Strange Variants from the other multiverse may have been influenced by the Kang Variants and will not be as helpful to Strange as we hope when the multiverse is unleashed.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will star Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, and Benedict Wong. Tom Hiddleston is also expected to return as Loki. The film will premiere on March 25, 2022.
