It's finally happening. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train is getting a US release and the premiere date has finally been revealed. In addition to that, the official rating for the anime film has been announced.

The confirmation comes from the official Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba English Twitter account. The post includes the release date of the subbed and dubbed version of Mugen Train. Check it out below.

A new teaser was also revealed and has been rated R for "violence and bloody images." This shouldn't be a huge surprise for fans who have always loved the action in the series. Interestingly, it could confirm that Mugen Train will also get an R-rating when it hits theaters in April.

The US release of Mugen Train was previously teased by the same account although they did not reveal the premiere date. Luckily, it was all worth the wait as the film will finally screen in North America next month.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train serves as the sequel to the first season of the anime series. Although it has not yet been released theatrically in North America, the film has enjoyed worldwide success since it premiered in Japan last year.

Mugen Train has already earned US$400 million globally and is poised to be a huge hit in the US box office. Needless to say, we can't wait to experience the film in the cinemas next month.

The subtitled and English dubbed version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train will be released in theaters, 4DX, and IMAX screens in North America on April 23. It will also be available on digital on June 22. The ticket will be on sale on April 9. Get your tickets here
