Deadpool 3 Star Ryan Reynolds Sends Encouraging Message to Cancer-Stricken Fan

Ryan Reynolds plays the Merc with a Mouth but in real life, he has a heart of gold. The Deadpool 3 star has just sent a sweet and encouraging message to a fan who is dealing with cancer.

Brody Dery is an 11-year-old Deadpool fan who has Stage 3B Hodgkins Lymphoma and Crohn's disease. Reynolds was clearly eager to cheer up the young boy so he sent Brody a touching message that would lift his spirits. Check it out below.

"Brody, it's Ryan Reynolds," the actor said. "I just heard a little bit about your story and I wanted to send you this video and let you know that I'm thinking about you and I'm sending you tons of love and I'm sending you strength, whatever strength I've got."

Reynolds continued by stating the good things that Brody has going for him.

"Man, you have a ton of people in your life that love you so much," he said. "I know you've been going through it, I know it's been a challenge lately but you know something, Brody, you're just the man for the job. So I'm sending you lots of love. I hope I get to meet you in person one of these days and hang in there. Okay pal, bye."

It's an awesome message that would move any Deadpool fan. Wade Wilson himself has cancer so it's only fitting that he could deliver such a touching message to someone who is going through the same thing.

For now, this is the closest thing we could get to seeing Reynolds saying something connected to Deadpool. However, it has already been confirmed that Deadpool 3 is happening so we're looking forward to more updates about the sequel soon.

Deadpool 3 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
