David F. Sandberg Teases New Details about Shazam 2 DC FanDome Poster

If you missed last weekend's DC FanDome, there's a good chance you have been hoping for a better look at the Shazam: Fury of the Gods poster that was revealed during the panel. Luckily, director David F. Sandberg has just shared a high-res copy of the illustration and even shared some interesting new details about the highly-anticipated DC Extended Universe flick.

Sandberg shared the poster on his official Twitter account along with a hilarious caption. Check it out below.

"If you're wondering why there's an angry raccoon & dog in this poster there was a part cut from the #DCFanDome panel where that came up. I like the randomness more though. And no, this isn't an official poster. Just a fun gag for FanDome," Sandberg wrote.

First of all, we love the angry raccoon and dog and although it's funny enough not knowing the story behind their appearance on the poster, we'd really love to hear how they ended up there in the first place. In addition to that, it's pretty disappointing to know that the poster isn't an official one for Shazam 2 since it's the coolest DCEU poster so far.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods will bring back Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Faithe Herman, Meagan Goode, Adam Brody, and many more. The film is expected to begin production early next year and is scheduled for release on November 4, 2022.
