Dave Bautista Says Disney Should Have Made Drax Movie Instead of Black Widow

Everyone is talking about Scarlett Johansson after she filed a lawsuit against Disney after the studio allegedly breached her contract for releasing Black Widow on its streaming service. Everyone including fellow Marvel star Dave Bautista, says the House of Mouse wouldn't have this trouble if they had chosen to work on a Drax the Destroyer movie instead.

Johansson is currently making headlines after she decided to sue Disney since releasing Black Widow digitally was a breach of contract. When the movie was made available on Disney+, it reportedly prevented the actress from "realizing the full benefit of her bargain with Marvel."

Interestingly, Bautista decided to weigh in on the lawsuit. The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 star retweeted a post about Johansson's legal move and added a surprising caption. Check it out below.

"Told em they should've made a #Drax movie but noooooo!" Bautista wrote.

It is important to point out that Bautista is just joking about the situation. However, some people believe it may have been too soon and that Bautista has gone too far. Nevertheless, we would all love to see a movie about Drax so it would be interesting to see if Marvel pursues the idea.

For now, it is unclear if we'll be seeing a Drax the Destroyer movie. However, we will still be seeing more of the character in the near future. Fans can expect to see Bautista in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
