DC's Flashpoint Movie Could Bring Back Chris O'Donnell's Robin as Future Nightwing

We already know that we're getting at least two Batmans in The Flash now that Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck are joining the DC Extended Universe film. But is it possible we'll get to see a former Robin become Nightwing? There are speculations that Chris O'Donnell could reprise his role as Dick Grayson in the highly anticipated movie.

It's no secret that O'Donnell's version of Robin was an awesome one that fans loved. However, any chance of seeing Dick again was erased after the Batman and Robin backlash in 1997 when the studio decided against working on more sequels.

But is it possible that The Flash movie with its Flashpoint storyline presents a new opportunity for O'Donnell's version of Nightwing? Screenrant points out that O'Donnell had previously confirmed that a Batman and Robin spin-off project focusing on Dick becoming Nightwing was originally in the works for Joel Schumaker. Sadly, this idea was scrapped after the sequel. On the other hand, Dick could be an amazing addition to the growing The Flash line-up.
