Colin Trevorrow Says Jurassic World: Dominion Trailer Will be Dropped Soon

It has been a long wait for Jurassic World: Dominion but it looks like we're finally getting an update on the highly anticipated sequel. Colin Trevorrow has just teased that the first trailer for the upcoming film will be dropping soon.

There is little doubt that Dominion is one of the most delayed movies right now. Although the film was supposed to premiere this year, production had to be pushed back due to COVID-19. Luckily, filming has already wrapped last year and it looks like the post-production work is finally over.

Trevorrow recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter to promote the animated Netflix series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 3. However, he also dropped a small tease about Dominion, stating that a promo is about to be dropped.

"It's going to be sooner than you think. I can't talk about it just yet," Trevorrow said. "We've got something fun planned, and it has everything to do with getting people back into the movie theaters."

Of course, Trevorrow didn't specify whether the promo will be the first teaser for Jurassic World: Dominion. However, fans are hoping that they will finally get to see the trailer for the film.

Trevorrow directed the first Jurassic World movie before stepping away from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which was helmed by J.A. Bayona. Interestingly, the former Star Wars Episode IX director decided to return to the franchise to direct Dominion.

Jurassic World: Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, Omar Sy, Jake Johnson, and BD Wong. The film is scheduled for release on June 10, 2022.
