Chris Hemsworth Campaigns For Thor To Join Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

One of the best things about Avengers: Endgame was seeing Thor realize that he is still worthy and then proving it in the climactic battle in the third act. But is he also worthy of teaming up with Star-Lord and the gang in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? Chris Hemsworth certainly hopes so and he can't stop from campaigning for the God of Thunder to join the James Gunn film.

Hemsworth is currently on a press tour for his new movie Men In Black: International but the Marvel Cinematic Universe is never far from his thoughts. While speaking with CinemaBlend, the Thor: Ragnarok star admitted that he is eager to play the Odinson again soon.

"I'd play that character again. I love it so much - especially if there's something unique to do again with it. I felt like the last three films were very, very different each time. It really felt like a totally different character. And I don't even know when or if they're shooting [Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3]. After the Avengers press tour I kind of went and buried my head in the sand," Hemsworth said.

Not surprisingly, Hemsworth is loving the idea of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 becoming Thor's big adventure. After all, the God of Thunder did join the Guardians in the ship in the last few minutes of Endgame. Hemsworth is now hoping that GOTGV3 will be his next big project because he wants to keep working with the cast.

"I'll work with any of those guys. Asgardians Of The Galaxy. That's actually great," he said.

It is still unclear if the third Guardians film will actually feature Thor. However, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Hemsworth is eventually announced to be a part of the cast.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to begin production by 2020.
