Chris Evans Confirms His Best Comic Book Movie Role is NOT Captain America

The world knows and loves Chris Evans as Captain America. However, the Avengers: Endgame star has revealed that playing Steve Rogers isn't the best role he's ever landed in a comic book movie. And no, it's not the Human Torch in Fantastic Four, either.

Filmmaker Edgar Wright recently took part in the recent watch-party for his 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and the director live-tweeted throughout the event with some awesome new details about the movie. Interestingly, at one point, Wright tagged Evans asking, "HIS BEST ROLE?" and the Captain America: Civil War actor had an awesome response. Check it out below.

It's important to remember that Scott Pilgrim is based on the graphic novel series by Bryan Lee O'Malley and Evans actually played an important character in the adaptation. He portrayed Hollywood actor Lucas Lee, Ramona Flowers' second evil ex. Honestly, Lucas may not have been as strong as Cap or Johnny Storm but he looked like a fun character to play.

Interestingly, Scott Pilgrim also starred Evans' future Endgame co-star Brie Larson, who played Envy Adams, Scott's ex and lead singer of The Clash at Demonhead. Oh, and Envy's bass player boyfriend (also Ramona's third evil ex) was portrayed by former Legends of Tomorrow actor Brandon Routh. I'm just going to add that Ramona was played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who would go on to be Huntress in Birds of Prey. Needless to say, this movie was filled with future superheroes.

Do you agree that Lucas Lee is Evans' best comic book movie role? Sound off in the comments below.
