There is little doubt that playing a superhero takes several preparations. That includes intense training to look like a real superhero. Brie Larson already did that for the first Captain Marvel movie and in a new workout video, she proves she's doing it again for The Marvels.
Back in 2017, fans were impressed when Larson's workout videos were revealed on social media. One of the more popular videos showed the actress pulling a Jeep, proving that the strength training had paid off.
So it's no surprise that Larson is going back to her intense training for Captain Marvel 2. In a new video posted on her official Twitter account, the Avengers: Endgame star revealed how she works on her one-arm-pull-up goal. Check it out below.
Umm *hi* don't mind me achieving my one-arm pull-up goal! pic.twitter.com/OdQY0LR4Dj— Brie Larson (@brielarson) May 29, 2021
It's great to see that Larson is getting in shape for The Marvels since it confirms that the sequel will begin production soon. There have already been reports that Captain Marvel 2 will start filming before the end of the month so it would be ready by early 2022.
The second Captain Marvel movie will bring back Larson as Carol Danvers. The sequel will also feature Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who had already debuted in WandaVision. In addition to that, Ms. Marvel star Iman Vehlani is set to join the film as Kamala Khan.
The Marvels will be directed by Nia da Costa and will be filmed in Los Angeles, New Jersey and Pinewoods Studios. The sequel is scheduled to premiere on November 11, 2022.
