Brie Larson Teases Captain Marvel 2 Production Start, Shares Training Preparations

It looks like Captain Marvel 2 is coming much sooner than you think. Brie Larson has just teased on her training preparations for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, which could confirm that production will start soon.

Larson recently shared a new video on her official YouTube channel titled Being flexible in 2021. In the video, the Avengers: Endgame star spoke about what to look forward to in the year and not surprisingly, she teased at her preparations for Captain Marvel 2.

"As you may know, Captain Marvel 2 is gearing up," Larson said. "I can't say much more about it other than that, but I'm gonna get ready for it. It's time for me to get moving."

It's no secret that Larson worked hard to get in shape for the first movie so there is little doubt that she will be training even harder for the sequel. Is it possible that we'll be seeing a jacked-up Carol Danvers before the end of the year? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Captain Marvel 2 will be directed by Nia DaCosta and bring back Larson as the titular superhero. The cast will also include Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan as well as WandaVision star Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Vellani has been previously cast as Kamala in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel.

It is still unclear whether Carol's friend (and Monica's mother) Maria Rambeau will be back in the sequel. Captain Marvel 2 is scheduled to be released on November 11, 2022.
