Black Widow Reveals Natasha Romanoff Had a Son

Natasha Romanoff has already proven that she's capable of doing just about anything as a member of the Avengers. However, fans already know that she is unable to have a child because of a procedure performed on her as part of her initiation as a Black Widow. But is it possible that it's reversible? The Black Widow comic book has just revealed that Nat has a family and is raising a young son.

The latest issue of the ongoing Black Widow comic book series follows the Russian spy after she falls from a building while trying to escape an attacker. Not surprisingly, Nat's three-month disappearance is noticed by Hawkeye and the Winter Soldier who discover she has been enjoying the civilian life.

When Clint Barton and Bucky Barnes finally find Nat, she already has a house in the suburbs, a new career as an architect, and is being a good mother to a son named Stevie. Interestingly, she introduces herself as Natalie to Clint, who realizes she is genuinely happy with her life.

But is Stevie truly Nat's son? Clint notes that the child resembles his friend and has even inherited some of her traits. However, the truth about Nat's new life could be revealed in the third issue, which is set to be released in November.

Black Widow #2 was written by Kelly Thompson while Elena Casagrande and Jordie Bellaire illustrated the issue. The issue was published on October 7. The film Black Widow is currently scheduled for release on May 7, 2021.
