There is little doubt that people are hyped up for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever although the sequel will not feature the late Chadwick Boseman. Nevertheless, Martin Freeman can't stop praising the script of the second movie. In addition to that, the Sherlock star has confirmed that Black Panther 2 will begin production soon.

Freeman was recently a guest on The One Show where he admitted that he has been given access to the script and he made sure to praise director Ryan Coogler for his work (via Metro.uk). Additionally, he confirmed that he will be working on the sequel soon.

"I’ve read the script. It’s very good and we will be doing it at some point I guess in the next several months, I’ll be going to the States and doing that. But I’m very excited about it, yeah," Freeman said.

This is great to hear considering that Black Panther 2 is one of the most highly anticipated sequels right now. Moreover, fans have been hoping that Coogler had found a great way to continue with the Black Panther franchise while honoring Boseman. If Freeman is impressed then there is little doubt that Wakanda Forever is something to look forward to.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is expected to begin production in July. The sequel will bring back most of the cast of the first movie including Freeman, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong'o and more. The film is currently scheduled for release on July 8, 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
