Ben Affleck Admits To Asking Oscar Isaac For Star Wars: Episode IX Spoilers

Anyone who has the privilege of meeting a Star Wars: Episode IX cast member would probably want to ask what will happen in the highly anticipated film. Luckily for Ben Affleck, he spent several months working with Oscar Isaac on Triple Frontier. Not surprisingly, the former Batman admits that he tried to get the Star Wars: The Last Jedi actor to drop some spoilers.

Affleck and Isaac are currently promoting the Netflix movie. In an interview with ET Canada, the two admitted that the Triple Frontier cast bonded while filming. Affleck was asked if he tried to exploit their bond to try and get some details about Episode IX. The Justice League star immediately admitted he didn't stop asking Isaac for spoilers.

"Always. Always working him for Star Wars information and never getting any," Affleck admitted.

Isaac revealed that there was a good reason why Affleck couldn't get him to spill anything about Episode IX. "I still don't know what happens and I finished shooting like a month ago," he revealed.

We already know that Episode IX has wrapped principal photography, thanks to a tweet from director J.J. Abrams. The image he shared featured Isaac with Star Wars: The Force Awakens co-stars Daisy Ridley and John Boyega hugging on the set of what appears to be Jakku. However, we might need to wait until the official trailer is released to confirm that.

Affleck and Isaac will join The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal, Garrett Hedlund, and Charlie Hunnam in Triple Frontier, which premieres on Netflix on March 13. Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20.
