Attack on Titan Creator Hajime Isayama Pens Final Author Note in Chapter 139


The final chapter of Attack on Titan is truly an emotional one for fans considering that it means the manga is now over. Not surprisingly, creator Hajime Isayama is feeling a lot of emotions now that the story has come to an end. Isayama has penned a heartfelt author note for fans in Attack on Titan Chapter 139.

Attack on Titan concluded with its final manga chapter on April 9 in Bessatsu Shônen magazine. Interestingly, the issue also featured an author note from Isayama thanking fans for their support. Check it out below.

Isayama's message reads, "Thank you for 11 and a half years! Please continue to enjoy Bessatsu Shônen magazine!" It's an awesome reminder that Attack on Titan has captivated people for more than a decade.

Although the manga is over, the final chapters are not yet available in tankōbon format. The collection is expected to be released starting June 2021. The last chapter, titled Toward the Tree of That Hill, could be made available in October. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

It has been a truly long journey for the Attack on Titan manga but fans can still look forward to more episodes in the anime. It was previously confirmed that Attack on Titan Season 4 is getting a Part 2 that would adapt the rest of the manga. Although the second half of the final season has not yet been given an official release date, it is expected to premiere in Winter 2022.
