Arnold Schwarzenegger Eager to Work on Last Action Hero 2

Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably best known for playing the T-800 in the Terminator movies but there was a time when he portrayed Jack Slater, an action hero who meets a young boy from our world in Last Action Hero. Interestingly, Schwarzenegger admits he enjoyed playing the character and is eager to reprise the role in a possible sequel.

Schwarzenegger is currently promoting his new film Terminator: Dark Fate but he also took time to discuss the possibility of returning for sequels for his other movies. ScreenRant asked the Predator star if he would consider working on "potential legacy sequels for Last Action Hero or True Lies," Schwarzenegger had an enthusiastic response.

"It's always up to the fans; if they demand to see another movie like that," he said. "If a script is great, I do it."

That's great news indeed for fans who loved Schwarzenegger's Jack Slater as well as Harry Tasker in True Lies. After all, both films have great potential in becoming successful franchises. However, it is important to point out that there has been no confirmation yet if there will be sequels to the movies. For now, we'll have to wait for an official announcement.

Although it might take some time before Jack Slater returns to the big screen, fans can still see Schwarzenegger in Terminator: Dark Fate. The sequel will also bring back Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, who is now determined to protect a young girl who is being chased by a new robot assassin from the future.

Terminator: Dark Fate will premiere on November 1.
