We already know that there is a huge possibility that Andrew Garfield will be back as Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3. But what could possibly happen to his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? A new fan-made poster imagines Garfield's version of the webslinger being infected by Venom.
The fan poster for Spider-Man 3 was created by digital artist erathrim20 and has been shared on Instagram. It features Garfield in his Spider-Man suit slowly being covered by the symbiote. Check it out below.
This is certainly an interesting idea considering that Garfield is the only Spider-Man who doesn't have a corresponding Venom in his particular universe. In addition to that, it would be cool to see at least one Spider-Man being infected by the symbiote in the upcoming film.
Although we're loving the idea that Garfield and Tobey Maguire will both appear in Spider-Man 3, it is also important to point out that their casting has been denied. Nevertheless, fans are holding on to hope that the third Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland will be the live-action version of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The still-untitled Spider-Man 3 has already started production and the first teaser for the sequel is expected to drop by December. The film is currently scheduled for release on December 17, 2021.
