Nintendo Will Bring Back The NES Classic In 2018

Nintendo has finally made dreams come true, as the company has announced that the NES Classic is coming back. The popular mini-console sold out really quickly last year, resulting in the company promising a ton of copies for the followup SNES Classic, which comes out in a few weeks. It will be good seeing the mini-console become available again, given the high demand it had back in 2016.

According to Business Wire, new copies of the NES Classic will come out in 2018, though no proper date was given. Nintendo also promised to supply more shipments of the SNES Classic through 2018. It was originally announced that shipments of the SNES Classic would only last till the end of 2017, so this is great news.

While new shipments of the NES Classic are coming, fans can only hope that they don't sell out too soon. Some customers weren't able to buy copies of the mini-console before, so this could be there second chance at nabbing the system. At the least, it gives players a chance to relive these 8-bit classic.

The SNES Classic will be released on September 29, and should be available from most retail stores. It seemingly sold out quickly, though Nintendo's promise of more shipments for the new mini-console sounds great.
