Zendaya Won't Have a Major Role in Dune

Dune is going to be a huge movie when it comes out, as the all-star cast and wonderful visuals from the first trailer shows, so we're all pretty pumped to see it. There are rumors that the movie is going to get delayed alongside Wonder Woman 1984 so until that's confirmed, we should still assume that this movie is getting a December 2020 release date. Still, we're all looking forward to seeing Timothy Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, and more but those wanting a lot of Zendaya might be disappointed.

Both Zendaya and director Denis Villeneuve confirmed that the Spider-Man: Far From Home actress only had four days worth of shooting. Speaking with Empire (Via Digital Spy), the actress said she only has a small part in Dune and that's why she's so excited to see this movie when it comes out. Villeneuve also said that working with the actress was a good experience, so we'll probably see more of her in the sequel.

"I only really had a few days with her, so I kind of scratched the surface but it was so much fun figuring her out. What does she walk like, what does she talk like? This is her planet, so how does she navigate this world? It was so fun."

Now that we know she'll only be around for a little while, it makes Dune more interesting. The fact that the first trailer put so much focus on her character means her small role is going to mean a lot. Here's hoping that they didn't put all of her scenes in the trailer, which would be hilarious.
