Twitch CEO Apologizes to Mixer's Ninja After His Old Account Supposedly Promoted Porn

When Ninja announced that he would be moving exclusively to Microsoft's Mixer, Twitch ended up acting bitter about it. Instead of removing his channel or keeping his old account and videos, Twitch decided to put a Super Mario Bros. meme, saying that the streamer is "in another castle" and the account now advertises other streamers. Ninja wasn't pleased with this before but things went to a head when the streamer said that his old account has advertised porn.

This is really bad, especially when you consider that Ninja is really popular with children. That means the supposed porn stream could have been seen by kids and, obviously, they shouldn't be seeing material like that until they are older. Ninja expressed his disgust on Twitter and it's easy to see why.

Emmett Shear, the CEO of Twitch, has reached out to Ninja on Twitter and apologized to the Mixer user. While Shear didn't admit to being petty, he did say that it wasn't Twitch's intent to showcase porn on his old channel and there are no excuses for what happened. It's good to hear him apologize but none of this would have happened if they just deleted his channel in the first place.

Fans of the Fortnite streamer can now see Ninja on Mixer.
