The Infamous World Trade Center Teaser for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Has Been Restored in 4K

While a bit dated in some regards, Sam Raini's first Spider-Man movie is still considered by many to be a high-quality superhero movie and helped pave the way for others to do better. Sure, it's a bit cheesy now when compared to other MCU films but you could tell that Raimi's heart was in the right place and his love for the original comics from Stan Lee and Steve Ditko was able to shine through.

The only infamous thing about the film, aside from that cringe-inducing "you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us" line, was the very first teaser for the movie. It had bank robbers attempting to get away from a crime scene via a helicopter, before they were stopped in the middle of the World Trade Center by a bunch of webs from our friendly-neighborhood Spidey. It's an amazing teaser but due to the events of 9/11, it was never shown again.

Now, fans can check out the video in 4K resolution, thanks to fans who thought that this short teaser was worth preserving. Once again, it's an amazing teaser that holds up to this day and Sam Raimi should be proud of himself; tragic real-life circumstances happened however, and you can't blame anyone who thought it would be in bad taste.

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man can now be purchased on Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital services, along with its two sequels.
