It's time to take out those birthday hats and start singing as fans celebrate the birthday of Bucky Barnes. Well, the MCU version at least. Whether you want to call him Bucky, Winter Soldier, or White Wolf, fans are happy to see him back in the MCU and he'll likely play a prominent role in the big screen once The Falcon and The Winter Soldier comes to Disney Plus. One Bucky Stan who is celebrating his birthday is the biggest Stan of them all; Sebastian Stan!
On Instagram, the actor who masterfully portrays Winter Soldier blew out candles in a small party he had for the fictional character. It's a cute way to acknowledge how much Bucky means to him and his post about Bucky taking Europe is likely a reference to the shooting for the Disney Plus series. We're a bit miffed that the Coronavirus has halted production but we can't do anything about that.
Stan has teased an interesting character arc for Bucky in Falcon and Winter Soldier, as the former mercenary tries to find his way in the world. Naturally, things won't go too well since Falcon and he have some baddies to stop but we like to think that he'll be able to relax after. Here's hoping that his Disney Plus adventure is one filled with MCU-levels of excitement.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be coming to Disney Plus this August, assuming that shooting goes well. Damn that Coronavirus.
