Pokemon: Detective Pikachu TV Spot Reveals First Look at Snubbull

We're all waiting for a new trailer of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu, which could be the first good video game movie. The first trailer impressed fans with its impressive-looking Pokemon and the humor involving Mr. Mime, which was a legitimately funny scene. Legendary has released a new TV spot that has some new footages and reveals a "new" Pokemon in the movie; Snubbull.

Also, now we know that Pokemon can fart. Thanks for that info, guys.

Aside from Snubbull and Pikachu farting, we also get some new footages of Mr. Mime and Psyduck, the latter of whom was strapped to someone's bag like a dog. Pikachu also calls his fart "silent but deadly," which is somewhat humorous. Hopefully, this joke was just done for the trailer and we don't actually see it in the film.

Snubbull actually debuted in the Pokemon: The First Movie as part of the short Pikachu's Vacation, so the Pokemon's inclusion here could be seen as a tribute. If Marill also appears, this will feel more like an homage, especially if Mewtwo really is the secret villain. Only time will tell, though the movie is coming out in a few months.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu will be coming to theaters on May 10. It will be loosely based on the 3DS game of the same name, though there will likely be more stakes.
