Netflix's The Witcher Season 2 Restarts Production This August

Fans are really looking forward to seeing Netflix's The Witcher Season 2 and it's unfortunate that COVID-19 forced so many productions to get suspended. It was unavoidable since no one wants their workers to get sick right now but it looks like Netflix is confident about when the show will be able to film again. Apparently, the studio is getting ready to restart production as the second season will reportedly shoot again this August.

The official Twitter handle of Netflix's popular series has confirmed that production on The Witcher Season 2 will resume on August 17. With movie theaters opening again this July, it seems like a lot of studios are starting to become more confident about shooting movies and some of the new release dates for various films. Here's hoping that everyone is safe during shooting and we hope the crew wears masks at all times.

It seems like the second season is going to improve on a number of things from the first, such as an easier timeline to follow and a proper family dynamic for Geralt and Ciri, which should be adorable. Hopefully, some of the writing has improved a bit since it was a bit clunky early on. Now that the actors are more familiar with their characters, we're sure things will be better.

No proper release date for Netflix's The Witcher Season 2 has been released.
