John Boyega Hated This Line From Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi was a polarizing film when it came out, though fans did start liking the movie once The Rise of Skywalker came out and took its place. That being said, there are fans who prefer The Rise of Skywalker and they are wrong entitled to their opinion. John Boyega seems to be one of those people who didn't fully enjoy his time on the Disney era Star Wars films as he has been publically dissing these movies for a while now.

Those disses continued as Boyega revealed that he did not like his one-liner to Captain Phasma. A fan on Twitter asked Boyega if he improvised the "chrome dome" taunt and Boyega simply said "Nope" Dean Ambrose-style, while also adding some puke emojis. While many of us will defend The Last Jedi till our dying day, that was a pretty bad line, though not as bad as the one Rose said near the climax.

No matter what you have to say about The Last Jedi or The Rise of Skywalker, we can all agree that both films didn't do well with Finn's character. The Last Jedi basically redid Finn's arc of learning to fight for a cause and The Rise of Skywalker made his character feel less special overall. It's good to know that he wasn't the only stormtrooper that went rogue but outside of that, all he did was shout "Rey" a bunch and be Force-sensitive.

We also never got to see what Finn wanted to tell Rey because they just had to give us that darn Reylo kiss. No offense to anyone who ships them but Finn didn't commit genocide. Just saying.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker are now available on digital stores.
