James Marsden is Ready for More Sonic the Hedgehog Movies

Against all odds, Sonic the Hedgehog ended up becoming a big hit and the movie is now loved by a lot of fans. Sure, the studio had to fix Sonic's character design to make sure people would actually get out of their houses and go to cinemas but it was worth it. If only the studio that fixed Sonic's character design was still around and didn't have to close down but there are just some things that can't be fixed.

James Marsden, who played the straight man for this movie, seemed to enjoy acting in this film and has stated that he's willing to do more should they make them. Considering how he doesn't have to act too hard in these movies, especially since most of the focus is on Sonic, we can see why he would say yes.

"I believe, I don't know if I'm supposed to say. As many as they want to make. Yeah, that's my somewhat vague answer. It is such a good group of people and it was so much fun to see Jim [Carrey] enjoying himself again. I think this was his second-biggest opening weekend of all of his movies. I was kind of amazed at that statistic. He just had a big smile on his face and he was hugging everyone. It just felt like it was such a cool thing."

Knowing that Marsden is down for more Sonic the Hedgehog movies are great and all but the fact of the matter is, we don't really need him. Most of us would rather see a CG animated film with Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails but we'll see what saves Paramount Pictures more money. To be fair, we would love to see Jim Carrey stay as Robotnik so maybe a weird compromise of Carrey in live-action while everyone else is CG.

Sonic the Hedgehog should still be showing in theaters.
